You had a bottle in one hand and a mess of a girl on your mind.
I felt as if the rain was washing away a layer of me I didn’t need anymore. Like a snake
shedding its skin. I was being renewed.
My lip trembled from holding back the tears.
I kept my end of the bargain. I left you there, standing in the middle of
your living room with your eyes down at the floor. You were not going
to hear from me again.
When you told me why, I wished I had never asked.
You didn’t do it on purpose. You had to.
Just tell me why and I will be on my way.
I’ll walk out that door and I’ll never come back through it again.

It was interesting reading that again, yet emotional at the same time.
Goodnight everyone.
I still appreciate everything you did for me and everything you gave me. It’s time to relieve myself of the ghost of you.
I wonder if you feel what I’m going through as well. I doubt that you are, but I will never know for sure. Every single day I blame myself for not trying harder to keep you.
